United Hub is honored to receive a King County Best Starts for Kids Workforce Development Mini Grant to launch Growing Together: Immigrant Family Early Childhood Support Workforce Training.

In partnership with MindBridge, this initiative focuses on strengthening the skills and cultural responsiveness of staff, volunteers, and community partners who serve immigrant and refugee families with children ages prenatal to five. The program will provide a one-day, in-person training that integrates early childhood development, mental health, housing stability, and racial equity, with interpretation available in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Amharic.

The Growing Together workshop will help build a more inclusive and capable early childhood support network across King County. Participants will gain practical tools for promoting healthy child development, learn trauma-informed care approaches, and deepen their cultural and linguistic competency. The training will also create space for peer learning and relationship building among providers who share a passion for family well-being and social equity.

Through this project, United Hub and MindBridge reaffirm their shared commitment to helping immigrant families thrive — ensuring that every child in King County grows up happy, healthy, safe, and supported.
