# Call for Vendors: Join the Thrift & Threads Festival This August!

At United Hub, we are always looking for ways to foster community connection and support sustainable living right here in our local neighborhood. That is why we are thrilled to announce that, for the second consecutive year, we are partnering with the City of Redmond Sustainability Team to bring you the Thrift & Threads Festival this summer!

Whether you are an established small business, a local maker, or just someone looking to clear out a beautifully curated closet, we want you to be a part of it.

Event Details

  *Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026

  *Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  *Location: Redmond Senior & Community Center (8703 160th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052)

  *Cost: FREE! There are no booth fees to participate.

### What is the Thrift & Threads Festival?

This one-day community market is a vibrant celebration of vintage, secondhand, and upcycled fashion. Returning for its second year in partnership with the City of Redmond Sustainability Team, our goal remains the same: to keep great style in circulation, reduce textile waste, and celebrate eco-conscious local creativity. It’s a community-focused, all-ages event where 100% of your sales stay with you!

### Who Should Apply?

We are looking for a diverse, energetic mix of vendors and everyday community members passionate about zero-waste and promoting a circular economy. We are looking for:

  *Vintage & Thrift Curators: Collectors of unique clothing, streetwear, shoes, and accessories from every era.

  *Individuals doing Closet Clear-outs: Everyday neighbors selling high-quality pre-loved clothing and accessories. Donations are welcome too. Volunteers will help to bring the donations to the nearest thrift store after the event.

  *Upcycled & Sustainable Designers: Creators working with reclaimed textiles, altered garments, and eco-conscious apparel.

  *crafters/artists/tailors who are interested in leading a simple upcycling/reuse activity or service at a crafts table.

### How to Apply

Spaces are limited, and we will be organizing the layout to ensure a wonderful, well-balanced market for both vendors and attendees.

Applying is simple! To secure your spot, please send an email directly to Lihong Tang at ltang@uhub.ngo.

In your email, please include:

 1. Your name (and business name, if applicable).

 2. What you plan to bring to the table (e.g., vintage clothes, personal closet clear-out, handmade jewelry, upcycling/reuse service, zero waste education).

 3. Whether you are applying for a standard space or a spot at the joint Crafts Table. Average price range of the items you are vending.

 4. A couple of photos of your typical inventory or a link to your social media page (if you have one!).

Deadline for applications: August 1st, 2026.
