Community Gathers For The First United Hub Picnic Day

Last Sunday, United Hub families and friends gathered for a much-anticipated picnic at Lake Sammamish State Park. Laughter floated through the air as colorful blankets spread across the grass, and baskets brimmed with homemade dishes, fresh fruit, and enough desserts to feed a small village.

Games broke out almost instantly with frisbees sailing and some taking to the water in kayaks to explore the Sammamish Lake.

As the sun dipped lower we wrapped up with a round of group photos, faces glowing from both the sun and the joy of being together. The day was a reminder that sometimes, the best memories are made from good company, simple food, and wide-open skies.

Days like this remind us that no matter how busy life gets, there’s always room for connection, laughter, and shared joy. We’re already looking forward to the next time we can gather under the open sky.
