At United Hub, we view supportive housing as a cornerstone of housing justice and community well-being. Supportive housing goes beyond providing a place to live. It combines affordable, permanent housing with coordinated, person-centered services that promote stability, health, and dignity. This model recognizes that individuals and families facing housing instability often navigate complex challenges, and that long-term success requires both safe housing and meaningful support.

Our commitment to this work was strengthened through our graduation from the 2025 Washington Supportive Housing Institute (WSHI), a competitive, statewide program led by the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) in partnership with the Washington State Health Care Authority. Selected as one of six teams statewide, UHub participated in six months of intensive training, technical assistance, and peer learning focused on the full lifecycle of supportive housing development and operations. Through the Institute, UHub deepened its expertise in evidence-based supportive housing practices, cross-sector collaboration, and community-centered project design that prioritizes lived experience, equity, and long-term sustainability. This experience reinforced our role as a partner and catalyst in Washington’s supportive housing ecosystem.

UHub’s graduation from the 2025 Washington Supportive Housing Institute reflects our commitment to advancing high-quality supportive housing across Washington State. The knowledge, tools, and partnerships gained through this experience continue to shape our approach as we work to develop equitable, community-centered housing solutions, particularly for underserved and culturally diverse communities.
